Good morning, my friends.
Today,

the Lord gave me an insight that I wanted to share with you as soon as possible. How to handle disappointments in life and career. Everyone experiences disappointment in their life and career journey.
It's a truth we all face. Disappointments are an inevitable part of our journey, both in life and career. The key for a godly man or woman is not just how we respond, but the faith we hold onto. God reminds me of an insight to apply to our lives.
First and foremost, when disappointment comes, the most important thing we need to do is to refocus our attention on God. We should focus on the promises that he has made, and then rehearse his faithfulness to us to date. Concentrating on the faithfulness of God is a practical step we can take to strengthen our faith during disappointments.
God is calling me to do something new, and he is inviting me to be a part of what he's doing that's new. Sometimes I get disappointed because I don't see results immediately, and maybe some of you are in the same place.
You're working, trusting, and believing God, but so far, the manifestation of what God is promising is yet to come to fruition. God is saying to you, "Keep your faith. Keep your focus fixed on Me, and remember My faithfulness in keeping my promises in the past."
Be encouraged, my friends. I remember an account of Abraham. God gave Abraham a tremendous promise that he would be the father of a child in his old age. Years went by, and Abraham was getting older and older. But Abraham continued to believe God, and I think that's what God is saying to you, and that's what he's saying to me.
The following quote describes the faith, hope, and confidence that Abraham models for us to emulate.
"In the presence of him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. In hope against hope, he believed, Abraham believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken (a promise God made to him). So shall your descendants be. Without becoming weak in faith, he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead, since he was about 100 years old, and the deadness of Sarah, his wife's womb.
Yet with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in his faith, giving glory to God." Romans 4:17-20.
Remember, my friends, when disappointment comes, it's a time to keep our faith in God. Our faith is what keeps our focus on God's promises and his faithfulness, even in the midst of disappointments.
In hope against hope, Abraham believed. It's about holding on to your faith, even when it looks like there's no reason to hope.
So my friends, believe God. If God has given you a promise, in hope against hope, think, and rehearse the promises of God.
Take time and let the Holy Spirit in you remind you of God's faithfulness, bolstering your faith by recalling what he has done for you so far.
This morning, the Lord reminded me that he called me years ago from one city to a new town to take a sales assignment in an account that I knew little about.
In faith, I followed God, trusting, obeying, and relying totally on Him to give me success. God blessed me with dramatic fulfillment of His promises, which I am enjoying as I envision and let Him lead me step by step in faith to the fulfillment of future promises.
Believe God will take you from where you are to where He promises.
Expect, anticipate, and prepare for his best blessings ahead for you.
Have faith in God constantly.
Love,
Tony.
